Week 10

PRESENTATIONS

This has been the week from hell.. OK not really, but still it was a tough week to get through. I worked all weekend doing AE floor set (new product gets put out on the selling floor) and i was working non stop for that. I worked i think a total of 25 hours, just this weekend. On top of all that work that need to get done to the store. I had to create a Media Conference, Media Kit sales proposal for my marketing class. I was so stressed about not getting everything done on time, and who was doing what with this project. I was a mess. I finally had time to myself after studying for 2 tests and one essay that needed to be handed in before this Media Kit. The Kit was completed and handed in today, thank you Jesus, and now i have time to relax, well only a little bit. I have to start studying for my current events test that is happening tomorrow morning during class. Its on politics and the political system of Canada and the States. Should be interesting to learn.

WEEK 9

HOLY COW have i been busy this week. The crunch is on for sure. I know that teachers want to have their assignments handed in and ready for them just before we enter our exam period, but do they have to all be due the same day???? what is up with that.
This weekend was full of work (at american eagle) and homework. I did however manage to wander off and was able to go and see 21 Jumpstreet. It was hilarious. one of the best movies that i have seen in a long time. if you dont know what it is about, here is a little overview.
A pair of underachieving cops are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring

I will tell everyone  "YOU GOTTA GO AND SEE THIS FILM" it had it all... sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Now to think about it, it didn't have sex in it.. hahah oh well... You gotta go and see this flick. So worth your money.

well now its time to get back to the homework and stop procrastinating. Might as well get everything done.

WEEK 8

ST.PATTY'S DAY!!!!!
This weekend was the most exciting and the most health harming weekend that i have ever experienced. It was full of SHOTS, KEGGS, and other ways of getting large amounts of alcohol into my body. I traveled to Guelph Ontario, to attend the most anticipated party of the new year. It was a blast. It started the night before, we travelled as a group to downtown Guelph to kick off the celebration. We arrived at 11:00pm to Bobby O'Brians were most of the festivities occurred. The following hours consisted of drinking and dancing, singing and moving from bar to bar. It was such a good night. The following day was indeed ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!!! we headed over to a pancake kegger at 8:30am and finally crashed at 1:30am on sunday... it was a day to remember. Here are some photos of my adventures.

Week 7

Sitting in current events class and ill i can think about right now, is how much fun im going to have this weekend in guelph for ST. PATTY'S DAY!!!! it has been a tradition for the past 5 years that i have been at guelph and now close to guelph to go and have a pancake kegger that kicks off at 8am sharp. Once 12 (noon) hits we usually get hungry again and we make massive amounts of grill cheeses for everyone in attendance.
Once the Kegs are all done and dried out, we usually go downtown to the Irish Pub called Bobby O'Brians. I can not wait for this weekend to begin.
Also, Friday night is the set up of College Royal in Guelph. It is a time when the students come in and get to see the different programs and the different carrer paths that you an choose at University.
It is also March Break so it is the perfect time for those students that dont know what path to follow to come in and observe the students in classes and lectures and to see if it is something that they wold like to get into. I know if i went to this 4 years ago, i would not have chosen to get into Marine and Freshwater Biology. It was hard work and i still decided to go to college after that to come to Niagara and to get into Broadcasting... Such a Carrer change...
All in all, im glad that i decided to come here... i have met a lot of fun and exciting people that im going to be friends with for the rest of my life.

Week 6

IM HOME!!!!!

The past week has been crazy!!! I was on a plane, a train, a car, a bus, and a boat all in one day... no lies... it was amazing. I spent all of reading week in a tropical paradise. It was the most relaxing and tiring trip that i have been on in such a long time. I was so happy to be home but unfortunately school had not stopping. As soon as i landed i was back into the swing of things and had no time to recover. I was writing essays and i was working on projects that needed to be completed for that first monday back. If it was up to me i would have stayed in Cuba for another week. It was so worth it and so beautiful. #missitalready
Here are a few photos to show you as to what type of week i had.

it all starts with a drink #duh
I think i had about a million different styles of drinks that week and every time someone came up to the bar and ordered something that looked good enough to drink, i had to order one for myself.

We got to swim with the dolphins...

Snorkel...

and have good fancy dinners where we got to dress up!!!!! #winning

But the best party of it all was the relaxing moments by the pool...
If i could go back tomorrow i would. Not a day under 30 degrees and the people were amazing.

Week 4

This week was full of research. I feel that every single teacher wants us to research topics to create essays or scripts or powerpoint presentations. I dont mine doing this (because it is homework after all) but i dont like the amount of time that it takes to research. If i become a inventor one day, i hope to make a super computer project that you just speak to and it searches the web to answer any simple or difficult question that anyone has. This way finding the right and important information for projects will become less time consuming. Next week i have lots of assignments and tests at the beging of the week so i better get a start on studying soon. After that week is done its the week of family day (: yay!! only two more weeks to go until the warm weather and the endless supply of drinks and food. CUBA here i come for some R and R.
